Boia Bar

This is one of the most popular establishments in the village. It is located on the beach overlooking the sea.

The food is simple but the quality and value is excellent. The grilled prawns are superb, as is the chicken piri piri (both of which are a bit spicy, unless requested not to be). Ask to see the fresh fish (if you like fish) it really is fresh! I would recommend the “Salema” fish, which is a sort of bream. They also do a children's menu.

If you want to be assured of a table get there early, as it is very popular. The waiters are genuinely friendly people.
